RIO (Recognition. Insight. Openness.) Workshop

RIO is a mindfulness-based workshop for finding mental calm and clarity.

CAPS offers student groups and workshops on a variety of topics and concerns. The right fit between a student and their group is key to a meaningful experience. Learn more about this group or speak with a counselor to find the right group or workshop for you.

The three sessions of RIO are divided into content that builds upon itself.  The sessions include modules dedicated to:

  • helping you gain a deeper understanding of your thoughts and feelings
  • creating flexibility in how you view and approach these issues
  • helping you take steps toward feeling more capable of managing strong thoughts and feelings

By the end of the workshop, you will have a better sense of your personal values and how you want to focus your energy.
