Education & License

Momo is a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of Arizona. They completed their bachelor's degree in Literacy, Learning, and Leadership from the University of Arizona with a thematic minor in Special Education and Diverse Communities. They also hold a master's degree in Counseling with an emphasis in School Counseling also from the University of Arizona. Momo received the NBCC Minority Fellowship and is a National Certified Counselor with the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC).

Momo is interested in a variety of student concerns, including couple/relationship challenges, family matters, LGBTQ+ issues, general anxiety/stress, academic performance, transition and adjustment to college, play therapy, sexual orientation exploration, identity development, social connections and conflict, transformative justice/restorative justice practices, harm reduction, first generation students, transfer students, and health at every size/body liberation/body neutrality.

Personal Interests

Momo adores their pug named Kevin, and hopes to one day have more than one pug. They enjoy reading novels and non fiction books, listening to podcasts, gardening, stargazing, world building, learning more about astrological signs and spending time with friends.
