Professional Interests

Alicea is a licensed professional counselor who has worked with individuals from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds since 2019 in clinical, community, and educational settings. As a CAPS Crisis Counselor, Xe delivers crisis intervention by ensuring safety, building trust through active listening and empathy, and collaborating with individuals to create holistic Care Plans that address both emotional and practical needs. Beyond traditional therapeutic approaches, Alicea has contributed to a wide range of expressive arts and public health initiatives, including creating murals, facilitating photovoice workshops, leading wellness programs for all ages, and producing multimedia projects.
