Are you an international graduate student feeling the pressures of academic life, language barriers, relationships, or perfectionism? ISS Counseling is here to help with a weekly support group designed just for you.
In the International Grad Student Support Group, you'll get:
- Confidential Support: A safe space to share your experiences and challenges.
- Educational and Developmental Guidance: Sessions led by an experienced facilitator.
- Personalized Attention: Small group size (8-9 participants) for a more tailored experience.
- Community Building: Connect with fellow students and enhance your academic journey.

How to Join
The Support Group for International Grad Students is collecting names of interested students to start meeting in the spring. A meeting with the group facilitator is required to join. To schedule a meeting:
- Email Denise at dmcontreras@arizona.edu.
- Denise will contact you via secure message to set up a 30-minute meeting.
- In the meeting, you'll discuss your needs, the group support process, and decide together if the group is a good fit.
- After meeting with Denise, your name will be added to an interest list to join when the group starts or space becomes available.
