BRIDGE Workshop

BRIDGE: Building Relationships, Intimacy, and Dialogue Effectiveness

About BRIDGE

BRIDGE is a 3-part workshop series that teaches communication and other interpersonal skills to help build new relationships and improve existing ones. These skills help foster self-awareness, intimacy, and connection and resolve conflicts that can arise in relationships.

Session Overview:

  • Session 1: characteristics of healthy relationships and identifying our values in relationships
  • Session 2: skills for effective communication in relationships
  • Session 3: why things go awry, how we can respond to build lasting relationships, and when we might choose to end relationships

BRIDGE meets Fridays 9/19, 9/26, 10/03 at 11:00 am with Cindy Klatte

How to Join BRIDGE

Workshops are available to all enrolled students!

There two ways to join. You can:

  • Schedule a brief Counseling & Consultation meeting with a counselor. The counselor will collaborate with you on creating a custom care plan that will address your current concerns. Be aware that the counselor may recommend attending individual counseling in addition to this workshop for students who are currently in high distress or experiencing severe symptoms.
  • Or, if you are already connected to CAPS services, just let your provider know that you'd like to join.

How Workshops Work

  • CAPS workshops are currently meeting online by HIPAA-compliant video conference.
  • You can attend more than one workshop series at a time.
  • Workshops are free.
  • Workshops meet for three 50-minute sessions. Workshop participants will receive a Zoom link and a digital workbook from the facilitator via secure message.
  • To get the complete experience, students must come to each session on time.
  • You have an option to reassess your needs at completion of the workshop series.

If you have any questions about the workshop, please contact the facilitator Cindy Klatte (cklatte@arizona.edu).
